What you should know about Dr. Dre

Dr. Dre's carrer started as a DJ after hearing Grandmaster Flash on the Wheels of Steel. He stated himself that is was this exact song that made him want to discove hiphop. His mother got him a Numark mixer on christmas and from there he ran off making mixtapes. When Dr. Dre's mom married a second time, Warren G, rapper, became his stepbrother. Through Warren G, Dr. Dre met and discovered Snoop Dogg in 1992. The World Class Wrecking Crew, which included DJ Yella, Dr. Dre, Shakespeare, and Cli-N-Tel was the first group with who he started rapping. A Couple of years later, he became famous through the group N.W.A. Dr.dre finally went on a solo career after Eazy-E was forced to cut the contract by  armed body guards. Those guards had Eazy-E's mother in hostage since Dre felt he wasn't getting what he was owed with Eazy-E. Many consider Dre to be the maker of the G-Funk sound because of his first album The Chronic in 1992. Because of his talent in as music producer, he was crowned in 2010 by Vibe to be the " Greatest Producer of All Time".

Dre won a Grammy award with his solo " Let me ride" which was a hit.
